John Pietrzak is a Principal and joined Castle Creek® in 2005. Mr. Pietrzak is a board member of West Coast Bancorp, its wholly owned subsidiary West Coast Bank, and Square 1 Financial.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Pietrzak was a Director at Levi Strauss & Co. where he led a team responsible for forecasting demand for the Dockers brand. He was also a Senior Manager of Finance at Levi's. Prior to that, he worked at Diamond Strategy and Technology Consultants, where he assisted clients in developing and implementing strategies in the wireless data industry. Mr. Pietrzak began his career at Sara Lee Corporation where he held positions in a variety of functional areas.

Mr. Pietrzak holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Indiana University and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and is a CFA charter holder.
