Yuma-based Colorado Community Bank and The Bank at Broadmoor in Colorado Springs will merge Aug. 12 and be called Northstar Bank Colorado, the banks said Tuesday.
The banks said the merger will allow Northstar Bank Colorado “to increase support for customers and employees and to introduce new technology, products and tools to provide an enhanced customer experience.”
“While our name is changing, the faces our customers see every day will remain the same,” said Stuart Pattison, now CEO of Colorado Community Bank, who will become CEO of Northstar. “Our relationships with our customers are the heart and soul of what we do and these relationships will contribute to our success moving forward.”
Northstar Bank Colorado will have 20 locations, with 16 along the Front Range and four in the eastern part of the state — in Sterling, Akron, Otis and Yuma.
