AUSTIN, Texas–(PRNewswire)–Carlile Bancshares, Inc. of Fort Worth finalized the acquisitions of Treaty Oak Bank of Austin and Community State Bank of Austin on February 10, 2011. The banks will be merged during the second quarter of 2011 under the name Treaty Oak Bank. The combined bank will have approximately $140 million in assets and $18 million in capital.
Ronald W. Simpson has been named President of the bank along with James A. Potts as Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer. Both Simpson and Potts were formerly senior officers of State National Bank of Abilene, which was acquired by BBVA Compass in 2007. Simpson and Potts have each served as group President of the BBVA Abilene bank.
Carlile Bancshares, Inc. Fort Worth was formed in 2009 by previous owners and senior officers of State National Bancshares, Fort Worth. The company has $300 million in capital available to support Treaty Oak and future acquisitions.
