RUSTON, La.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Community Trust Bank is changing its name. The more-than-a-century old Louisiana-chartered bank, with banking centers in Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas and assets of more than $3.8 billion, today announced it has officially changed its name to Origin Bank.
“Throughout our history, our bank has continued to evolve to better represent our customers’ changing financial needs,” said Origin Bank Chief Executive Officer Drake Mills. “We’ve changed our name, but we’re not changing who we are. Our promise to customers will always remain the same—to make every customer feel like the only customer every time.”
For existing bank customers, all account numbers, PINs, routing numbers and other account information will remain exactly the same, while ATM cards, debit cards, credit cards and checks will continue to function normally. The rollout of its new name will not affect the bank’s normal business operations.
